Prove authorship
in Microsoft Word Online
The Scripli Chrome extension works with Word Online at office.com. Record your writing session and receive a Human Authenticity Certificate without switching tools.
Web browser only — desktop Word is not supported
Scripli works with Word Online (office.com in your web browser), where the Chrome extension can operate. The downloadable desktop version of Microsoft Word does not support browser extensions, so Scripli cannot run inside it. If you use desktop Word, consider writing in Word Online instead, or use Google Docs.
How it works with Word Online
Install the Scripli Chrome extension
Add Scripli from the Chrome Web Store. Works with Chrome and any Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave, Arc).
Open Word Online at office.com
Navigate to office.com in your browser and open the Word document you want to write in. Scripli recognises the Word Online environment.
Start your session
Click the Scripli extension icon to start a writing session. A small indicator confirms your session is active.
Write your document
Write in Word Online as you normally would. Your document content stays in Microsoft's cloud — Scripli never reads or stores it.
End session and receive your certificate
End the session when you're done. Your Human Authenticity Certificate is issued immediately with a publicly verifiable certificate number.
